The paper reveals logical relationships between events, facts and results of research studies and exemplary materials of practical applications of the adaptational reactions. It is demonstrated that the stress reaction by H. Selye and the anti-stressor type adaptational reactions by L. Kh. Garkavi, E.B. Kvakina and M.A. Ukolova have become the cornerstone in development of scientifically grounded approaches to control of the organism states.

It is shown that the mechanism of action of magnetic fields at body level is based on the development of unspecific adaptational reactions of the body - stress and anti-stressor reactions; elevated activation, calm activation and training.

The paper presents a brief review on how some concepts on the organism general adaptational reactions developed, including their role in increasing the unspecific resistance in the organism. Demonstrated is periodicity of the patterns of anti-stressor type reactions (training, calm and elevated activation) and stress in a wide range of stimulation values.

Knowledge of laws of the different organism reactions to external and internal influences in case both of general unspecific adaptational reactions of different types and the periodic system of the repetitive pattern reactions offers us a possibility to target and control the organism resistance level using the activation therapy methods. Given are some examples of using the available biologically active means and the programmed modes of their dosing which demonstrate simplicity and efficacy of the stable health state restoration and maintenance.

The activity of key ferments in the Krebs cycle (SDH) and glycolysis (α-GPDH) in peripheral blood lymphocytes in animals and humans with cancer pathology is considered herein. Identified is a close relationship between the fermentative activity and non-specific integral reactions of an organism, the type of which can be regulated by factors of electromagnetic nature. Monitoring of signal energetic and adaptive reactions permits to adequately evaluate an efficacy of treatment and predict recovery.

The use of deuterium depleted water (DDW) in a dosing regimen of 25-30 ml per day for five weeks in aging female rats (20-22 months) contributed to the overall correction of age-related disorders of the adaptive status, estrous cycle regulation and nonspecific resistance, as well as the appearance of visually distinct signs of rejuvenation of the animals.
